Bill Porter founds the company
William S. Porter establishes the firm in Arizona. Construction at Williams Air Force Base during WWII shapes the company's culture of precision and accountability.
- Post-War
Bill and Stan expand statewide
Father and son build the operation into a recognized Arizona contractor, taking on commercial, religious, and institutional projects across the state.
- 1974
Gary and Dennis establish Porter Bros., Inc.
The third generation formalizes the company. Gary and Dennis take the lead on growth, expanding scope and geography over the next five decades.
- 1980s–2000s
Multi-state expansion
Porter Brothers expands into California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, and Utah — building a reputation as a reliable multi-state contractor with Arizona roots.

Gary and Dennis remain active in operations. Chase, Chance, and Preston represent the fourth generation — continuing a family commitment spanning over eight decades.
